All of our programs are based on neuroscience and the latest research into learning. Here are explanations of the science behind the programs and how they work:

The impressive results of our formal trials show how well the programs work.

Dyslexia Gold helps most people who struggles with reading, regardless of whether they have a diagnosis of dyslexia or not.

If your child can read "The boat with the queen needs to slow down" then they should play our Catch Up Intervention.

If they can't, they should play our Early Intervention.

Engaging Eyes should help your child if they often:

• Skip words or lines
• Reverse letters
• Lose their place

• See words move or look blurry
• Tire easily when reading
• Read slowly
• Get eyestrain from reading

They can also take the Convergence Insufficiency Symptom Survey to find out if they have convergence problems.

Each program takes 10-15 minutes a day.

Engaging Eyes should be played daily, then the training will take 6-12 months to complete.

Fluency Builder contains 50 lessons. Each lesson takes 10 - 20 minutes to complete.

Vision Training can strain the eyes - we therefore don't recommend playing Fluency Builder straight after Engaging Eyes.

Yes - in order to spell correctly you have to remember what a word looks like; you have to remember all the letters in the word.

This requires even greater vision skills than reading, as you can read a word without looking at every single letter in the word, but you can't spell a word without remembering every single letter.

The way we remember the letters is by having read a word (many times) before. But if you're not very accurate when reading, and are not able to look at every single letter in the word, then you won't remember what the word looks like when you come to spell it.

So by improving your vision and then by reading lots, over time your spelling will improve.

Dyslexia Gold can be played by people of any age, and any educational level, aged 5 and above. The games have been designed to appeal across all age groups – including primary and secondary pupils.

Dyslexia Gold also helps adults, as the program addresses the underlying difficulties causing reading problems.

Yes, if you suffer from visual stress or Irlen syndrome you probably also have a convergence problem.

The 3D glasses are needed to play the 3D games which help you learn to focus both eyes on the same point.

Engaging Eyes is not suitable for people with strabismus.

Engaging Eyes works on PCs, Chromebooks and Macs, but not on tablets or iPads.

Fluency Builder, Spelling Tutor and Times Tables Tutor work on PCs, Macs, Chromebooks, tablets and iPads
